Title:  Morning Buck
Media: Acrylic on canvas
Size 10"x16"

This is one I have had for a while, but not completed.  Decided to try to finish the half dones that populate my art room.  Lots of depth here and trying to work with composition.  Painting the leaves over the bright area and sun rays and water wavets were a bold step, seemed really bright on the paining, but looks ok on here.

Media:  Graphite on Vellum Bristol
Size:  2.5" x 3"

Here is my first ACEO, Artist Card, Editions and Originals.  Ran across this concept, even though this has been a huge deal since 2007, on a website I was reading on drawing.  Just a little behind am I??  These cards are traded or sold and collected, framed or held in trading card poly sheets and stored in binders.  They can be used as a way to get people to buy your art at affordable prices, listed from .99 to $100, and then maybe trade up to larger paintings.

This little format is pretty tricky since you really can't get much on it but when you go look on EBay what people have done is unbelieveable.

This is a great way to try new things and work on techniques, so I am going to try to enlarge my assortment and new things that I wouldn't do in a large painting with hours in it.  This is easy to do after a hard day at the office and work on while "we" are watching tv and being enthralled with the latest football game.  Now if we are talking Duke college basketball ... well, that's a different matter.

Media:  Graphite on Paper

Back to working on drawing basics.  Wanted to get  the feel of the texture and the drama of the dark and light.
